Singapore’s Paris 2024 team includes eight Peter Lim scholarship beneficiaries

The generosity and vision of philanthropist and sports enthusiast Peter Lim is reaping rich rewards for the Singapore National Olympic Council.

Of the 23 athletes in 11 sports representing Singapore in the Paris Olympic Games, no fewer than eight of them have come through the Singapore Olympic Foundation-Peter Lim Scholarship programme.

They are: ⁠Quah Jing Wen (swimming), Gan Ching Hwee (swimming), ⁠Amita Berthier (fencing), ⁠Shanti Pereira (athletics), ⁠Saiyidah Aisyah (rowing), ⁠Izaac Quek (table tennis), ⁠Terry Hee (badminton) and ⁠⁠Jessica Tan Weihan (badminton).
